The proposed home is situated in Elaleni Coastal Estate on the North Coast of KZN.
The design is focused on family living. It lends itself to an open plan living area with a strong link between the verandah and the outdoor living spaces. High internal spaces enhance this connection with nature and assist with the cooling of these spaces with the climate zone it's located.
Sustainable materials, water harvesting and solar panels were used in the design. Solar shading is provided by the covered verandah and timber screening.
