Hudson Estate

Hudson Estate is situated on the North Coast of Kzn. The estate will consist of Duplex as well as simplex units.

 

The unit designs are focused on maximizing space to enhance family living. It lends itself to an open plan living area downstairs and a private area to house the bedrooms upstairs. Indoor and outdoor living spaces are connected with glazed sliding doors to allow a strong visual link with landscaped gardens. The architecture is a response to the bioclimate zone and the typography of the site. High pitched roof deep recessed verandahs and timber screening assist in cooling the units naturally.

Sustainable materials, water harvesting and solar panels were used in the design. Solar shading is provided by the covered verandah and timber screening.
