Elaleni Estate 1
The proposed home is situated in Elaleni Estate.
The design is focused on open plan family living. The link between outdoor and indoor living spaces are blurred when the oversized glazed sliding doors slide into a cavity. High internal spaces and glazed elements, enhance the connection with nature and assist with the cooling of these spaces.
Sustainable materials, water harvesting and solar panels were used in the design. Solar shading is provided by the covered verandah and timber screening.
